About Me (and because I love being narcissic and I got a huge ego)

Picture
My name is Samy. I'm 17 and was born in the 6th of August in the lovely country (spot the sarcasm here) that is France, and currently live in the UK (and to read about that, you might want to check out my life in the UK) As you might discover -oh, I'm sure you will- I am slightly weird. Slightly. But that's not the point. Or is it ? After all, That's a description of me, isn't it ? Just kidding, I know you're not going to answer that. I think it's the time where I have to talk about what I like. I like food and music, after all, once you got these two, what else do you need ? I also like computers. And mangas, especially these where you actually have a storyline, you know ? Not the "I'm gonna kill you" Dragon Ball kind of manga. And smiles, I also like smiles (I know, so random). I play the guitar more than I should -well at leasst that's what my neighbour would say- and.... I think that's it. Do I have to talk about the things I hate ? Don't be so pessimistic, you don't need to know.

So let's turn to my favorites. Favorite color : I have to go for purple. Even if you won't find any on this website. It has the feeling of the blue with the appeal of the pink, and you can play with both to get a perfect mix : take a bright purple when you feel happy and a dark one when you feel sad, it's just versatile. Favorite movie... Virgin suicides ? Such a good movie, I like Sofia Coppolla. Marie Antoinette was a masterpiece, too. Unfortunately, the DVD I had of Lost In Translation is dead, so I only watched the first 40 minutes. I know, so sad, right ? Favorite book, hum. I don't read a lot of books, I used to, but now I just end up playing guitar instead. I know, know, but I can't help it ! So my favorite book would be Alice In Wonderland. I love the way childhood is depicted, it seems so accurate ! Favorite band : The White Stripes. There's just nothing else to say. Favorite singer.... Maybe Nina Simone ? She's great, but she's always so serious, it's like this version of Fly Me To The Moon by Diana Krall live where she looks so bored. I can't understand how people can look bored when playing masterpieces, it's the music schools that do that, I guess...

I think that's enough now. And class is over anyways, so here you go, that was me !

Where am I now ?
