I've been home for something like one week and a half now, and it's been great. I've been partying a lot (well, not that much actually, but when you're on holiday everyday is a party) and sleeping late. I feel like every holiday I end up having the worst lifestyle you can find. I don't drink that much though. Well not THAT much.

People often ask me "so, you've met all your friends again ?", and I usually say yes, but I feel like I also left a lot of them behind. I don't miss Brighton, but I can't say the year is over and I'm moving on now either. I miss all the friends I've made there for sure. It was nice because none of us had friends there, so it's easier to make contact with people. Now it feels harder to talk to strangers.

Paris is very hot now (well, relatively hot if you come from Hong Kong, but yeah...), a lot of people are on the streets on cafés having cokes, but I prefer to stay inside, it's cooler.  And we got coke, too. I'm having less and less trouble speaking French, but it's still not perfect, and I'm thinking in English half the time. I think the worse is going to be the "camera" thing. In France, "Caméra" is the English "Video camera", and we got a completely different word for a camera, but in the end I call a camera "Caméra" and my friends don't understand me.

Travelling to Paris was awful. I was carrying a luggage that was at least as heavy as Ivy, plus my Lucille. But I did it, and now I'm home. And because I'm such an awesome writer, I didn't start by the beginning. I went for the business exam, which was more like a "last thing to do before home" than an actual exam. Most of us here only needed a small mark to pass the course, so everyone was confident.

The exam itself wasn't very hard, but not a piece of cake either. And when I say cake I mean actual cake, I won't threaten to kill you (and most of you won't get the reference anyway). I hope I did well, but have to wait for 10 days before getting the result, the 24th of June (which, when you think about it, is exactly 6 months before Christmas. So it's like... Middle year Christmas. Cooooool).

As for packing, I felt quite bad about it. And I had so many things to pack (some stuff I didn't even remember I had...). I left a lot of useless stuff and heavy things I couldn't bring back, like the kettle. Then, I said bye to everyone and left. (*insert emo lyrics here*)

I'm done with the design ! It took me one or two hours tonight, discovering Photoshop and its mysteries again. I haven't checked it for bugs yet, but I'll see about this to-morrow ! I like going back to my ancient Windows to use Photoshop, because it feels like going through a box of old toys. I usually put some music from my old playlist in iTunes, and discover how bad my tastes at the time were. It's quite funny ! I also like to look at the smashed keyboard with the up arrow missing, reminding me of the time when I was an angry gamer... I know, it was two years ago, but still !

I went to Loughborough on Saturday, to find out what the university looks like. And it's nice. The trip takes hours, and my iPod left me with that epic fail smile that says : "you forgot to load my battery". After crying out loud for a minute or two, I just ended up playing Pokemon on my Game Boy (that game is still as cool as when you were a kid). The university is quite large, it takes 15 minutes to walk all the way from the bottom to the top, but the business building is in the middle, so in the end I won't have any trouble finding a place to live near my classes. The university is the leader in sports in England, so it's filled with sport courts and blond teenagers with a proud-of-themselves smile on their faces. On the way back I went to the city center, which is actually a lot of small shops and a church. I found an Arctic Monkeys EP in Oxfam, and brought it back home almost safe (because with my small messenger back, there was no way the cover would be perfectly fine after 6 hours of train). In the end it's just another trouble to bring back to France.

First post ! I got nothing else to say, so I'll leave you here. Meditate on that. Twice.
